Lynne Avril

Avril is the illustrator of more than 60 books for children. She is illustrating Herman Parish's new series of Amelia Bedelia books. Her recent work appears in The New York Times bestsellers "Amelia Bedelia's First Day of School" and "Amelia Bedelia's First Valentine."

Three successful authors and illustrators of easy readers for children will share their experiences in writing and illustrating these books. They will offer suggestions for authors and illustrators who are interested in creating fiction and nonfiction series books for young readers and adults who use these books with children.
